As part of the service which was conducted by the Reverend Kevin Jones Monica Lambkin was ordinated as an elder of Central United Reformed Church.

Part of the ordination involved the laying on of hands by some of the other elders of the church (Cathy Gould and Sam Goodman)

As usual following the service members of the congregation socialised over coffee while waiting for the lunch to be prepared in the hall.
‍

While members of the congregation were socializing some volunteers were busy in the kitchen preparing the feast for us.
‍

Resulting in the excellent buffet spread.
‍

Before we stated enjoying the buffet Kevin gave thanks for the feast.
‍

As the guest of honour Monica was invited to make her selection first.
