On the 13th June 2026 some members of the church congreation
tried a new venture by presenting a Murder Mystery Play.
The event was attended by about 50 members ofthe church and friends.
Prior to the performance raffle tickets had been sold and the draw made.
We were given an introduction and the scene was set.
The Cast
The performance was in three acts with each act ending with questions handed out to the audience to ask the
cast to help set possible motives or opportunity to perform the murder.
on completion of the first act there was an interval during which we all enjoyed some refeshments.

Following the refreshment break the performance continued with the last two acts after which the auidence
groups were invited to present their verdit on who was the murderer as were the members of the cast.
Of course I am not at liberty to divulge the answer but sufficient to say we and the cast were wrong.
This was new venture, was enjoyable and would be worth a further similar venture.
We are pleased to say that the venture raised £400 for church funds.
